All MEM carriages are motorized by a robust feedwork, either hydraulic for the heavy loads or electric drive (more reactive) for the softwood carriage.
INCLINED LOG CARRIAGE:
This inclined log carriage is designed to saw the large diameter wood. The headblocks are inclined and move independently, which improves the stability of the log and sawing’s accuracy. Other benefits of the inclination are the ease of log turning and ejection of products.
LOG CARRIAGE DGP WITH INDEPENDENT HEADBLOCKS:
Each headblock moves independently on two round slides. It’s designed to be equipped with a system for dimensional analysis of wood. This sturdy log carriage is suitable for large and heavy logs, and for softwood or hardwood, up to 1200 mm diameter.
LOG CARRIAGE DGR FOR MEDUIM AND LARGE WOOD:
This carriage is intended to saw logs from 1.2 to 8m and Ø20 with 100cm. Each head block is guided on two chromed round slides, hydraulic or pneumatic dogging, each slide is automatically lubricated with an oil pump circuit, each dogging unit shifts on four chromed round slides diameter 50mm, the in & out is controlled by a hydraulic cylinder and allow to skewing logs and cants once dogged. Logs turner included and each head block includes a slab turner integrated in the slide.

LOG CARRIAGE CGR FOR SMALL AND MEDUIM WOOD:
This carriage is intended to saw logs from 1 to 6.5m length and Ø150 to 800mm. Noted for its extreme reliability and simple in operation, this carriage is fully pneumatic with the headblocks displacement done by an electric motor with variable speed.
The power of the electric engine to drive the drum is 20 to 100 HP. The electrical cabinet is separately installed from the winch. The control is done by two pedals, one for the sawing progress, and the other for the return of the carriage.
With a power from 20 to 100 HP, it is equipped with a variable-flow pump and a hydraulic engine. The hydraulic power pack is separately installed from the winch. Hydraulic piping to the winch is flexible and allows the establishment of the control desk according to the environment needs'.
